Good Isn't Good Enough - You Deserve GREAT!
The DJ didn't return their phone calls promptly, but he eventually got in touch with them. He didn't provide them with planning forms in advance of meeting to detail out their wedding. Instead, he just brought a blank pad on which he took notes. He showed up late on their wedding day -- as the officiant was asking for a pre-ceremony sound-check, the groom literally had a cell phone in each hand calling the DJ's numbers trying to track him down. The DJ finally arrived and set up, so they said "things worked out."
The couple was pleased the DJ was able to do an "on-the-fly edit" of a song for their grand entrance which was really important to the bride, who had been picturing their entrance for weeks and was worried whether the song could be edited -- of course, her worries could have been alleviated if he had stayed in touch with them. The DJ cued the song so the right lyrics played when the couple entered, but he mispronounced their names, which really bothered the groom because it made it seem to their guests like the DJ didn't even know them -- "but he only did it two or three times that night."
Still, according to this couple, "he did a good job."
At JD Productions, Quality DJ Entertainment, good isn't good enough. We think you deserve a GREAT musical entertainment experience! We stay in touch with our clients and promptly communicate with them. We provide online planning forms so they can fill them out before our planning meeting. We go over important items in advance like custom edits and name pronunciations. And we arrive on time.
When your special day is over - you will have the photos and the memories. It's the photographer's job to capture your special memories, but it's our job to help create those memories. We would welcome the opportunity to create GREAT memories for you!
